Please Excuse the Dust
Just testing out a poll feature I added. Hanging out on a snowy day has encouraged me to add some neat features to the site. I hope you enjoy them, and for now, excuse the dust.
I add ratings to every post. Right now it only shows up when you click on individual posts, but I might put it all on the front page. I’m hoping for more feedback this way, even if it’s not extensive commenting.
I also added a print and email button on each post. …

I like the little triangular banners you can put in the top corners of your website and blog. I’ve decided I would start a post collecting those. Since I couldn’t find a lot I’ll start with a couple and encourage people to make more for the websites (particularly humanitarian and non-profits) that you like.

Thanks everyone for taking a minute and filling out the survey. If you haven’t I would really appreciate it if you could.
There will obviously be a few glitches along the way but I wanted to try something different, a little more friendly and readable. Let me know your thoughts. So, sometimes I have an idea and I can write it down and forget about it. Other times it keeps me up and so antsy I get kicked out of bed (actually encouraged lovingly to pursue my ideas; I love my wife). But sometimes I don’t know when to stop.
I had this idea to make a digg like site for articles and sites about fair trade and conscience consumerism. It seems like it would be a great way to keep things up-to-date and find relavent articles that suit people’s interest. …

For those who don’t know I currently have all entries on this website reposted onto a xanga.com account. There are a couple of reasons for this, the main one being that I have a LOT of friends that use Xanga and this makes it much easier for them to read my writings. Second, this does spread the word and hopefully promote what I write a little bit.
